Bundesliga, Formula 1, and the Premier League. The baseline package carries restrictive single-stream caps and SD/720p compression unless paired with the paid WOW Premium add-on, but its app-driven delivery offers unmatched live tier value over traditional satellite hardware agreements in the German market.

In-Depth Platform Analysis & Coverage
WOW Live-Sport operates as Sky Deutschland's dedicated over-the-top streaming platform, delivering linear feeds and pop-up event coverage across Germany without requiring physical cable or satellite hardware. The service anchors domestic live football rights in Germany, holding exclusive coverage of all Saturday Bundesliga matches—including individual kickoffs and the signature simulcast Konferenz—alongside every fixture of the 2. Bundesliga, complete Premier League coverage, and the DFB-Pokal. Live motorsport carriage covers all Formula 1 practice, qualifying, and Grand Prix sessions alongside MotoGP, ATP/WTA Tour tennis, and DP World Tour golf.
The technical deployment serves variable bitrates up to 1080p50, with standard base subscriptions enforcing strict household concurrency limits capped at a single active stream. Upgrading via the monthly WOW Premium add-on unlocks two simultaneous streams, Full HD across all linear feeds, Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound, and reduced ad loads across on-demand replays. Platform access requires a verified German billing method and domestic IP address, supported by mandatory EU cross-border portability allowances during temporary travel outside Germany.
