About LPGA Tour
Founded in 1950, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour is the world's top women's professional golf circuit. Running from late January through late November, the 2026 schedule features 33 official tournaments across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia competing for over $130 million in prize money and points in the season-long Race to the CME Globe.
Five Women's Majors, Top Stars & 2026 Champions
Five major championships define the LPGA calendar. In 2026, American star Nelly Korda won the opening two majors at The Chevron Championship (Memorial Park in Houston) and the U.S. Women's Open (Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades) to clinch the 2026 Rolex ANNIKA Major Award. South Korea's Haeran Ryu captured back-to-back summer majors at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship (Hazeltine National) and The Amundi Evian Championship in France, while Japan's Shiho Kuwaki won the AIG Women's Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes. Weekly contenders also include two-time defending CME Group Tour Championship winner Jeeno (Atthaya) Thitikul, Olympic gold medalist Lydia Ko, Lilia Vu, Ruoning Yin, Charley Hull, Hannah Green, Minjee Lee, and Ayaka Furue.
Format & The $11 Million CME Group Tour Championship
Standard full-field LPGA events contest 72 holes of stroke play over four days (Thursday through Sunday) with a Friday 36-hole cut to the top 65 players and ties, while select fall Asian Swing tournaments and the T-Mobile Match Play use no-cut or match-play brackets. Every official tournament awards Race to the CME Globe points (500 points for regular wins and 650 points for major victories). After The ANNIKA in November, the top 100 players keep full LPGA status for next season, while the top 60 players qualify for the no-cut CME Group Tour Championship at Tiburรณn Golf Club in Naples, Florida (November 19 to 22, 2026), where the points reset and the winner earns a $4 million first-place prize out of an $11 million purse.
Where to Watch & Broadcast Reality
Beginning in 2026, an expanded broadcast deal ensures that all four rounds of every LPGA Tour event are televised live. In the United States, Golf Channel carries daily weekday and weekend rounds, while weekend network windows and major championships air on NBC, CBS, CNBC, and USA Network. You can stream NBC and select Golf Channel windows on Peacock Premium ($10.99/month) and CBS weekend rounds on Paramount+ ($8.99/month), or watch local NBC and CBS broadcasts free over the air with a $20 digital antenna. For 24/7 live Golf Channel access without cable, use Sling Blue + Sports Extra ($51/month), Fubo ($79.99+/month), YouTube TV ($82.99/month), Hulu + Live TV ($88.99/month), or DIRECTV Stream. In the UK and Ireland, Sky Sports Golf and NOW (ยฃ34.99/month) stream every tournament and all five women's majors live, while in Japan, WOWOW carries weekly LPGA stops and U-NEXT streams the five women's major championships.
