For sports fans, it carries exclusive live coverage of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League alongside regional combat sports. In-Depth Platform Analysis & Coverage
Pro Plus (part of Central European Media Enterprises / PPF Group) launched VOYO to serve as Slovenia's leading homegrown subscription video-on-demand service. Its value proposition is anchored in local entertainment: subscribers get exclusive pre-broadcast access to Slovenia's highest-rated television series, reality competitions (such as Kmetija, MasterChef Slovenija, and Slovenija ima talent), high-budget local Voyo Originals, and synchronized children's programming through OTO.
On the sports front, VOYO Slovenia provides direct digital access to premier European club football—including live matches from the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League—as well as domestic combat sports events (WFC, FFC) and local basketball and motorsport broadcasts. All live linear television networks from Pro Plus (POP TV, Kanal A, KINO, BRIO, and OTO) are fully integrated with live streaming and 7-day catch-up television.
The platform operates on a single transparent subscription model with no complex tiered paywalls for sports. However, the software experience remains somewhat traditional; content discovery and search filters are basic, adaptive bitrates can face occasional drops during high-demand European match nights, and concurrent streaming is capped at one to two active screens. In accordance with EU digital content portability regulations, Slovenian subscribers can access the service while traveling within the EEA, though strict geo-blocking applies outside Europe.
