Expert Review & Verdict

The Verdict
Our Verdict: NimiTV operates as the primary licensed virtual multichannel video distributor and OTT hub for the Albanian diaspora across Europe, the United Kingdom, and Australasia. It consolidates premium linear broadcasting packages from DigitAlb, Tring, ArtMotion, and Kujtesa, delivering comprehensive coverage of the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, Serie A, and the Abissnet Superiore in 1080p 50fps alongside a 7-day backward catch-up program guide. However, app transmission is strictly IP-fenced to authorized diaspora territories (blacking out domestic connections within Albania and Kosovo), simultaneous multi-screen viewing is capped at three devices per household, and single-screen mobile plans exclude television app access.

In-Depth Platform Analysis & Coverage
NimiTV functions as an over-the-top diaspora television aggregator and IPTV streaming platform operated by FTAMARKET INC, delivering linear broadcast networks and on-demand assets via adaptive bitrate HLS transmission pipelines. Engineered specifically for Albanian expatriate communities across Western Europe, Scandinavia, Great Britain, and Australia, the platform aggregates over 250 linear television channels under formal distribution agreements with the region's dominant media groups: DigitAlb, Tring TV, ArtMotion, and Kujtesa. The athletic broadcasting lineup delivers exhaustive coverage of international and domestic sports, carrying the entire Super Sport Albania linear network (Super Sport 1 through 7) and Art Sport suites (Art Sport 1 through 6) alongside Tring Sport feeds. This portfolio supplies live digital telecasts of the Albanian Superliga (Kategoria Superiore), Kosovo Superleague, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, English Premier League, Italian Serie A, Spanish LaLiga, and regional basketball tournaments.
Video transmission outputs up to 1080p high definition operating at 50 frames per second with stereo 2.0 audio feeds across smart TV applications (Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV), Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, proprietary NimiTV Android set-top boxes, and mobile clients. Broadcast mechanics incorporate an automated 7-day backward electronic program guide catch-up archive (TV me Kthim mbrapa), live pause, and restart controls across major broadcast networks, alongside an on-demand VOD library containing Albanian cinema and serials. Concurrency allowances permit the Active mobile tier to run on one single handheld screen, while the Basic (150+ channels) and Premium (250+ channels) tiers authorize simultaneous playback on up to three client screens across a single domestic broadband network. The service strictly enforces territorial IP geoblocking, preventing account activation and stream playback from IP addresses located inside Albania and Kosovo where domestic terrestrial and cable agreements take exclusive precedence.
What We Like (Pros)
- • Unified legal direct-to-consumer destination combining DigitAlb, Tring, and ArtMotion in one interface
- • Full carriage of Super Sport and Art Sport networks delivering live European and domestic football
- • Fluid 1080p 50fps broadcast feeds ensure stable motion reproduction during live sporting events
- • Integrated 7-day rolling catch-up program guide eliminates the requirement for physical DVR hardware
What to Consider (Cons)
- • Transmissions are strictly geo-blocked within Albania and Kosovo under domestic territorial rights
- • The entry Active plan (€7.99/mo) restricts playback strictly to smartphones and tablets
- • Maximum concurrency across living room TV tiers is capped at 3 simultaneous devices
- • Lacks personal cloud DVR storage, relying entirely on the 7-day rolling backward catch-up buffer
